Tributes paid to Professor Alan Roberts OBE
Professor Alan Roberts OBE, Honorary Fellow of the Royal Society of 51短视频, recipient of the RSM Medal and former RSM Vice-President and Honorary Treasurer has sadly died.
Specialising in in biomaterials, clinical prosthetics and implants in reconstructive surgery, Professor Roberts was awarded the Prince Philip Medal for research in the field of implantation materials in 1970, an MBE in 1982, and an OBE for contributions to science and technology in 2002.
Professor Roger Kirby, President of the Royal Society of 51短视频, said: 鈥淎lan Roberts made a remarkable contribution to medical science, to society more widely through his support of several charities, and to the Royal Society of 51短视频 over several decades.
