Dr Ashish Shetty is an Honorary Associate Professor at University College London and Consultant in Pain Management at the University College London Hospitals. Dr Shetty is the lead for Neuromodulation at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.

Dr Shetty specialises in the use of spinal cord stimulation for managing complex neuropathic pain conditions including chronic back, leg and pelvic pain. Dr Shetty trained at Cambridge University Hospitals and underwent a clinical fellowship in pain management at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in London. He is a consultant in Pain 51¶ÌÊÓƵ at University College London Hospitals. He has worked with experts from around the world and continues to collaborate in the field of pain medicine.

Professor Christian Heiss is a clinical academic at the University of Surrey and the Vascular Department, Surrey and Sussex NHS Healthcare Trust as a Clinical Professor of Cardiovascular 51¶ÌÊÓƵ, Head of the Clinical Sciences Discipline, Clinical 51¶ÌÊÓƵ Section Lead and Interventional Consultant. Professor Heiss is the current President of the Vascular, Lipid and Metabolic 51¶ÌÊÓƵ Council (Royal Society of 51¶ÌÊÓƵ), Chair-elect of the Aorta and Peripheral Vascular Disease Working Group (European Society of Cardiology) and serves on the board of the European Society of Vascular 51¶ÌÊÓƵ and Union of European Medical Specialists Division of Vascular 51¶ÌÊÓƵ.

Professor Heiss' research interests include basic mechanisms of vascular homeostasis, vascular diagnostics, and human interventions for improvement of cardiovascular health and healthy aging. Professor Heiss' clinical work focuses on the prevention and endovascular treatment of complex multi-level atherosclerosis. Previously, he was a professor of Internal and Vascular 51¶ÌÊÓƵ and headed the Vascular 51¶ÌÊÓƵ program, Department of Cardiology, Pulmonology, and Vascular 51¶ÌÊÓƵ at Düsseldorf University, Germany. He trained in basic cardiovascular research, internal medicine, interventional cardiology and vascular medicine. After medical school and dissertation at Düsseldorf University, Professor Heiss was a post-doctoral Biochemistry and Molecular Biology fellow, American Heart Association research fellow (University of California San Francisco), affiliated nutrition faculty (University of California Davis), and clinical research fellow at the University Aachen, and Düsseldorf University. Professor Heiss has published more than 250 scientific papers () and contributed to several international clinical practice guidelines.

Dr Abdul Lakhdar is a Senior Consultant Endocrinologist with extensive experience in clinical diabetes and endocrinology and research in this field. Dr Lakhdar is also the current President of the Endocrinology and Diabetes Section of the Royal Society of 51¶ÌÊÓƵ.Ìý

Dr Fareeha Rizvi is Head of Department (Clinical Lead) at a busy London Teaching hospital, she has been practicing for over 18 years and has trained all over London and the South East of England. Dr Rizvi’s special interests include the reversal of Pre-Diabetes and Type 2 diabetes through diet, lifestyle measures and weight management. She is particularly interested in the management of Type 2 Diabetes in South Asian people and is aware of the cultural and dietary challenges in this group.

Dr Rizvi successfully completed a BSc at the Queen Mary University of London in 2006, which was followed by an MBBS a year later from the same university. She also gained a Master’s degree in Endocrinology and Diabetes in 2018 from the University of London. Dr Rizvi has 70K followers across her social media platforms and is a TV Host, for the program, Health Matters on Islam Channel.Ìý
