Optimal neurodevelopment remains one of the primary areas of concerns for expectant parents. While routine ultrasounds can detect major abnormalities, there’s a wide variation in what is assessed and when further tests like neurosonography, MRI, or paediatric input are offered. With advances in AIÌý imaging technology, and clinical expertise, we’re getting closer to earlier, more accurate detection and helping parents make informed decisions sooner.
This unique course brings together experts in ultrasound, MRI, paediatric neurology, and patient advocacy to offer a holistic view of fetal brain care from early detection to life after birth. This embodies the purpose of the Maternity and Newborn Council.
Through live scan demonstrations, expert panel discussions, and real case studies, participants will gain practical skills and insights into when and how to use each imaging modality. With leading voices from the Fetal 51¶ÌÊÓƵ Foundation, Evelina London, third-sector charities, and the London Perinatal Fetal Brain Imaging Group.
By attending the session, you will:Ìý
